I just wanted to share a bit of a positive story because I know there are plenty of people out there who are probably in the same boat I was in a few months ago. I had been taking my Kia Telluride to the dealership for every single service since I bought it, partly out of habit and partly because I was worried about voiding any kind of warranty or goodwill coverage. But after my last service where they charged me a fortune and still managed to miss a fairly obvious issue with my brake pads, I decided enough was enough. A mate of mine who works in the automotive industry recommended I try a specialised independent workshop in the Musaffah area that deals specifically with Korean cars. I was a bit hesitant at first, but honestly it was one of the best decisions I've made. They actually took the time to explain what they were doing, showed me the old parts they'd replaced, and even pointed out a couple of things that would need attention in the near future without trying to pressure me into getting them done immediately. I'm based near ICAD so having somewhere relatively close is a huge bonus as well. What I appreciate most is that they use genuine parts and have all the proper diagnostic equipment, so I don't feel like I'm compromising on quality just to save a few dirhams. I've found a place that offers Quality Kia service and maintenance near ICAD Musaffah and I honestly can't see myself going back to the dealer anytime soon. If anyone's on the fence about making the switch, I'd say go for it, just do your research and find a place with a good reputation. Happy to share more details if anyone's interested.
